PJ Hegarty completed a €13 million project to construct a new distribution centre for Lucey Transport Logistics at a site in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co Dublin. The project comprised the construction of four units with a total footprint of 16,723 m². The development — which also included a full operations and administration fit-out — was completed in nine months.

The four blocks have a structural steel frame with insulated cladding panels, with high-performance steel fibre reinforced concrete floor slabs laid to FM2 specification. PJ Hegarty also facilitated a future office fit-out by constructing an additional 1,500 m² of mezzanine floor.

The distribution facility features 24 dock leveller loading bays and four level entry bays, battery charging rooms for manual handling equipment, and a HGV concrete yard including a truck wash and a fuel dispensing area.
