Founded in 1925, PJ Hegarty & Sons has grown considerably over the years, achieving many milestones along the way.

The Company is established by Patrick Joesph Hegarty in Cork

The company undertakes a major reconstruction of Collins Barracks, Cork

1948

Fry-Cadbury Ltd

A chocolate factory at Rathmore (Co. Kerry) is completed by the company for Fry-Cadbury Ltd

Michael J. Hegarty succeeds his father

Michael J. Hegarty succeeds his father

Patrick Joesph Hegarty RIP, passes away. His son Michael J. Hegarty succeeds him as head of the company.

Cork County Hall

The Cork County Hall is completed, at 16 storeys it is the tallest building in Ireland

Dublin Office opens

The company opens it Dublin Office

Shannon Airport

The company completes the new Terminal & Pier Buildingsat Shannon Airport
