PJ Hegarty secured the project for extensive renovation work on the warehouse at Nissan Ireland’s corporate headquarters in Parkwest Business Park, Dublin. The head office is responsible for distributing the Republic of Ireland’s full range of Nissan cars, commercial vehicles and forklifts. The Nissan Headquarters project involved the strip-out of the existing building, including the demolition and removal of the mezzanine level and asbestos materials.

Construction works included load-bearing blockwork on a foundation of mini-piles, installation of new structural steel work, formation of a new mezzanine level, offices, a car showroom and a workshop area. The existing cladding was removed and replaced with a new glazing system.

A new drainage system was installed throughout the building and connected to the existing system at the site boundary.

All existing services including the sprinkler systems were removed and replaced with new systems.
