The Phibblestown Schools project was one of the first educational development projects to be procured under the Public Works Contracts for Building Works Designed by the Contractor. Alongside our partners, PJ Hegarty delivered the most modern school campus in the country at the time of build, providing state-of-the-art facilities to meet the educational needs of more than 1,700 primary and post-primary students in the Phibblestown and Ongar areas.

The enhanced community facilities also cater for adult education and include meeting rooms, a recording studio, fitness suite, sports hall and an all-weather playing surface. Overall, the project incorporated all building and external works, including nine hard surface basketball courts, a 60-metre all-weather playing pitch, circulation roads, and parking spaces for approximately 115 cars, while extensive landscaping sensitively integrated the campus into the local environment.
